Everyone has a place that is special to them. For this family, it is the Bridger Mountains outside of Bozeman. Their baby is a Bridger Mountain baby for sure! I suggested a location, but when I arrived they one-upped me and took me up to an amazing spot with these spectacular views. Mom brought along this amazing vintage sled she found at a local Bozeman antique shop. It was a little rough, but her dad fixed it up and got it looking as good as new. It is the perfect little sled stroller.
I often get asked about photographing babies in the cold winter weather. This session is the perfect example of a cold and snowy session, but a happy baby! The key to a successful winter baby session is layers, blankets, and hats. This little guy has multiple layers on under his sweater. He was always in a hat except for last shot where it was off and then right back on. Between spots, mom wrapped him in a blanket to keep the wind off of him. We worked really fast. If I remember right we were in and out of the truck for 15 – 20 minutes.
