Choosing the perfect location for your family photographs can feel daunting.

After your session is booked I can send
you my guide with popular location options
that include past session examples.  However, I am always open to new
locations and even have a few spots

What location
should I choose?

During the busy season of September thru December it is highly recommended to book your session 6 - 8 weeks in advance. If you have very specific date requests even 3+ months is ideal. Other times of the year 2 - 4 weeks is a typical booking window to plan and prepare for your session. I will make every effort to accommodate late bookings when my schedule permits. Please don't hesitate to reach out.

To reserve your session date a signed portrait agreement and $75 reservation fee  are collected.  The reservation fee will be applied to your session fee.

What is Required to book?

Family sessions are scheduled for one
hour.  I give kids time to get comfortable with me.  This results in the genuine Most kids (and husbands)
get tired and over stimulated
after an hour.  If you feel like your
family would like more time just
bring it up in the planning 
process.
I believe in giving children ample time to get comfortable with me because that will yield the most genuine expressions and lead to a fun session for all. That’s why our sessions are never rushed. A typical family session lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. This allows children to acclimate to the environment and to me. They’ll have time to play, run around and, in between the fun, have their photo taken.

How long are photo sessions?

Your only responsibility will be to get yourself and family ready for picture day, a feat in and of itself! I will bring everything we need for the session. However, if there is a special item that you want included in your family photo session please let me know so we can include it. This could be a family quilt, a favorite stuffy, or anything else to
to personalize your session

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes!  Our dogs our part of our families and are more than welcome for full family sessions.  Some locations are less than ideal for dogs so please let me know early in the planning process if you will be bringing them along.

Can our family dog come?

Absolutely!  My session fee is $175, an 8x10 is $30, and packages start at $350 to give you an idea of pricing.  Contact me
