Each year we choose a non-profit in our community that needs our help, and we give. Sometimes it is a monetary donation and sometimes it is time and talent. Early this year when Thrive came calling I was happy (and honored!) to lend my services as the photographer for their marketing campaign. And working with crazy adorable kids isn’t too bad either!
Now Thrive always has something fun up their sleeve, insert LUNAFEST!
ABOUT: Thrive is proud to present national traveling film festival LUNAFEST, films for, by, and about women. Join us at the historic Ellen Theater for a night out with the ladies! Our pre-reception will feature product and sample displays from local businesses, food from the Leaf and Bean, and much more.
The 90 minute film will feature 10 short stories of amazing women from around the nation. You don’t want to miss this empowering evening.
Afterward, take your crew to Plonk and enjoy specials that will benefit Thrive.
Tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase at the Ellen.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit Thrive’s Girls for a Change program. A portion of the ticket sales will also be donated to the Breast Cancer Fund.
