This month has been a doozie. Our family came down with a stomach bug that hit everyone, and knocked me out for 16+ days. It was horrible. I was starving, nauseas and tired. On one of my good days we ventured outside for a little fresh air. It was chilly and windy, but we needed to get out. This month my friends and I are sharing “something I love”. I think it worked out perfectly that the only pictures I have of my family from February is really something I love. My daughter, Amelia, aka Mimi or #wreckitrhonda. She is a strong, determined, independent woman in the body of an almost 2 year old. I have struggled with her personality, but mostly because I had no idea how to parent such a strong personality. She is not the people pleasing rule follower kid like her brother. We are trying to embrace her personality and nurture it because when she is 15, 18, 25, 46, etc I want her to be strong, independent and determined. So when she demands Mama’s scarf and Daddy’s hat you roll with it, even if she can’t see. If you want to run through the puddle and get soaked, go for it. We love ya sis!
