This summer our family trekked up to Whitefish MT for a little vacation before school started and the weather turned. Unfortunately the weather turned a week before we arrived. We still had fun though sweatshirts and all! I left my big girl camera tucked in its bag all except for a sweet family session, and a few from our last day at GG’s house. Thankfully we had the trusty iphone and an awesome lady at the bottom of the alpine slide. During our many trips to Whitefish we have never ventured up to Big Mountain and Whitefish Resort. We rode down the alpine slide which provided the most excitement for the kids. Aiden insisted on being in control after his first ride, Amelia just held on and squealed. My excitement came when we got a family photo with all four smiling, woohoo! Daddy’s excitement came when he stumbled upon wild huckleberries. We thought we had missed the season but at the top of the mountain there they were just waiting for us to pick them.
