ten on Tuesday …. ahhh Wednesday

I started this on Tuesday, but story of my life Aiden woke up and life got busy…

1.  I should have known I was jinxing myself with the last post.  We all got a nasty cold on Saturday morning (Aiden had it Wednesday) and are still working on getting better.

2.  Big thanks to my mom for helping me out this week.  I have three sessions this week and Aiden loves his Grammy time.

3. Aiden is on the verge of crawling, and I’m not ready for it yet!  He gets up on his hands and knees, rocks around a little bit, and then slides to his stomach.  He is rolling like a crazy man and scooting backwards to get where he wants to be, until he gets stuck against a wall or something.

4. We got a new couch!!! WOOOHOOO!  I’m so excited about this.  Our old couch was a generous donation from Ryan’s mom that we were really greatful for, and gave lots of good use for 5 years.  It was loosing its support and often felt like you were sitting right on the frame.  Anyone need a sofa sleeper couch?

5.  Sleeping has once again become a challenge around these parts.  I use to be able to lay Aiden down for a nap and walk away.  Now he rolls all over the crib tries to pull the bumpers off, and has to explore every corner of the crib.  The one little development out of all the moving around is that Aiden as become a stomach sleeper.  Sometimes facedown sometimes face to the side, its fun to see him find his own space and comfort.

6. I’ve started knitting again to get away from the computer a little bit.  Two hats down and I’m on to the next.  I LOVE this book of hat patterns.

7.  I’m still trying to get to Christmas pictures… but work comes first…

8.  The AOII house was pranked the other day, all the toilet seats were stolen… pretty clever.

9.  Will Aiden ever go more than two hours without a nap?!?  Life is hard to live in two hour increments.

10.  My new favorite show to DVR, Real Simple Real Life… It makes me feel like I can get a handle on this crazy life…
